FAQ – Ethernet Cable Supplier & Network Cable Manufacturer
Have Questions?
A: We supply detailed material declarations and independent test reports for every production batch. For conductor material we provide: a clear specification sheet (conductor material, AWG), a sample cutting and microscopic photo showing conductor cross-section, and optional third-party lab reports that test resistivity and copper content. For buyers who need extra assurance, we can send short factory videos showing the conductor drawing and extrusion process and a sample tested with a conductivity meter. If you require, we will also arrange a Fluke or third-party performance test on request before shipment.
A:AWG (American Wire Gauge) describes conductor thickness. Lower AWG numbers mean thicker conductors. 23AWG is thicker and has lower DC resistance than 24AWG and 26AWG, which improves signal integrity and allows longer reliable distances—this is why many Cat6 and Cat6a cables use 23AWG for higher performance. 24AWG is standard for many Cat5e and Cat6 designs and balances flexibility with performance. 26AWG is thinner and used for patch cords and space-constrained deployments. When choosing for your market, consider installation type: long runs and PoE benefit from thicker gauges; tight cable management or patch cords favor thinner gauges.
A: Each cable model has a listed nominal OD in the datasheet and we provide tolerance ranges (e.g., 6.0 ± 0.2 mm). Our production follows IEC and TIA/EIA recommendations for dimensional tolerances. OD affects stuffing density in conduit and patch panel planning—so we publish OD values for Cat5e, Cat6, Cat6a and shielded variants. For targeted markets, we can provide measured samples to confirm packaging and transit fit.
A:Yes. We can perform Fluke testing (or equivalent third-party testing) to demonstrate compliance with category performance parameters—near-end crosstalk (NEXT), attenuation, return loss, and more. For bulk orders we routinely provide a Fluke report or a third‑party lab certificate for a sample reel. Reports are shareable as PDF. If a customer needs testing for a shipment, we can coordinate pre-shipment performance tests and provide the documented results.
A: Yes—our outdoor product lines use UV-stable jackets (typically PE or UV-stabilized PVC) and are available with waterproof construction for direct burial or duct installations. For direct burial models we provide gel filling or water‑blocking yarns and a polyethylene sheath; for aerial or rooftop installations we offer UV-resistant jackets and optional messenger wires. All outdoor models are specified with IP or environmental resistance statements and recommended installation practices to preserve warranty and performance.
A: We manufacture both unshielded (UTP) and shielded solutions (FTP, STP, S/FTP). Shielding types include foil drain wire and braided shields depending on the category and application. Shielded cables are recommended for environments with heavy EMI (industrial sites, close proximity to power lines, or long fiber-to-copper transitions). We provide installation guidance on grounding/bonding and recommend shielded connectors and proper grounding practices to ensure shielding effectiveness.
A: We offer PVC (general indoor use), PE (outdoor/direct burial), and LSZH (low smoke zero halogen) jackets for environments with strict fire/smoke requirements. LSZH is common in public buildings and certain regulated markets. Each jacket type has a datasheet describing mechanical, thermal, and flame properties. If your market requires a specific standard (e.g., CPR in Europe), we help choose the correct jacket and provide compliance documentation.
A:Our standard pull boxes are factory-measured for length accuracy within ±2% for full boxes and ±0.5% for factory-sealed reels. For standard 305m/1000ft reels we can guarantee length tolerances on bulk shipments and provide serialized reel labels upon request. Accurate length control reduces installation downtime and avoids reordering errors—important for distributors managing stock and delivery to end customers.
A:We are a factory with multiple extrusion and twisting lines, in-house quality control, and direct export experience. Being a manufacturer allows us to control material sourcing, production schedules, and to offer OEM options that trading companies cannot. For transparency, we can provide factory photos, video tours, a list of major equipment, and references from long-term distributor partners.
A:Our monthly capacity depends on the product mix—UTP Cat5e, Cat6, shielded, and outdoor lines have different throughput. As an example, our standardized Cat6 UTP lines can produce tens of thousands of reels per month. We will provide exact capacity numbers after we understand the product model and your required volume, and we can reserve production slots for long-term partners.
A:Typical lead time ranges from 7–21 days for stocked items and 14–35 days for OEM or large-volume orders depending on season and raw material availability. During peak seasons or when copper prices spike, lead times can extend—so we recommend confirming lead times when requesting a quotation. For rush needs we can often prioritize smaller runs or ship partial quantities.
A:Yes. We export worldwide and have experience with shipments to Africa, the Middle East, Southeast Asia, and Latin America. We handle FOB, CIF, and EXW terms and work with freight forwarders experienced in your destination country. For some markets we can also provide DDP/clearance assistance and local documentation support.
A:Yes. We support LCL and mixed container shipments for distributors who cannot fill an FCL. Mixed palletization and secure packaging are standard practice to protect product integrity. LCL options increase flexibility for smaller distributors and help maintain cash fl
A:Yes. We can source matching accessories—patch cords, RJ45 connectors, keystone jacks, and basic active equipment—either produced in-house or through vetted partners. Offering a one-stop solution helps distributors bundle offers for end customers and maintain consistent quality across the product range.
A:Prices are updated based on raw material trends (copper/CCS markets) and production costs. Typically we review pricing weekly to bi-weekly during volatile periods and monthly in stable markets. For distributor quoting, we provide a validity period on each proforma and offer negotiation for locked pricing under contracted volumes.
A:Yes. We provide tiered pricing for distributors based on order volume, exclusivity, and payment terms. Exclusive territory agreements are available for proven partners with minimum purchase commitments. Contact our sales team for a distributor packet outlining margin structures, MOQ, and territory options.
A:We accept TT (telegraphic transfer), LC (letter of credit), PayPal (for small orders), and Alibaba Trade Assurance for online orders. PayPal is safe for sample payments or small shipments, but larger orders typically use TT or LC with agreed terms. For new partners we often request a partial deposit and balance before shipment.
A:Yes—repeat orders, long-term purchase agreements, and full container loads typically qualify for improved pricing. Discounts depend on SKU mix, contract length, and payment terms. We encourage distributors to negotiate annual or quarterly commitments to secure more favorable pricing and priority production allocation.
A:We can offer price-lock agreements for contracted volumes or provide hedged quotes valid for a specified period. Locking price depends on lead times and your willingness to accept deposit/commitment terms. Discuss your risk tolerance with our sales team and we will tailor a pricing instrument (fixed price, capped price, or indexed pricing) to match.
A:Yes. We provide OEM and private label services, including customized pull boxes, printed reels, color-coded jackets, and bespoke documentation. MOQ for OEM varies by product and packaging—contact our team with your artwork and specifications and we will provide samples and a production timeline.
A:Common packaging options include 305m pull boxes, 1000ft wooden reels, and bulk coils in cartons. We also offer export-strength wooden reels for long-distance sea shipments and custom carton inserts for mixed orders. Packaging choices impact shipping cost and storage—our team helps select the right mode for your logistics.
A:We design packaging for export conditions: reinforced cartons, stretch wrap, sealed wooden pallets, and protected corners. For reels we use treated wooden drums and secure straps. Sea freight risks (moisture, stacking) are mitigated with water-resistant wrapping and correct palletization. We can provide photos of packaged shipments and run drop tests on request.
A:We maintain commonly requested certifications such as CE and RoHS. For markets requiring SONCAP (Nigeria) or special local approvals, we assist with documentation and testing as required. Some certifications require factory audits or additional testing; our team guides distributors through the process and provides supporting documents.
A:Yes. For each shipment we provide Certificate of Origin, commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading/air waybill, and any requested export documentation. If your importer requires additional paperwork, tell us in advance and we will prepare it.
A:We usually provide paid or free samples depending on the distributor’s region and order intent. Sample lead time is typically 2–5 business days for off-the-shelf items plus courier time; OEM sample production takes longer (7–14 days). Sample costs may be credited against your first order.
A:Our warranty covers manufacturing defects for a defined period (standard terms available upon request). Warranty claims require documented evidence (photos, test results) and we coordinate inspection and replacement procedures. Warranty terms vary by product type and use-case (indoor vs outdoor). We recommend all distributors register large shipments to streamline any future claims.
A:Yes. We supply technical documentation, installation guides, pinout wiring diagrams, and phone/email support for troubleshooting. For larger partners we can deliver on-site training or remote webinar sessions covering proper termination, testing, and PoE considerations.
A:If damage occurs, report within 7 days of receipt with photos and packaging evidence. We work with insurers and freight forwarders to process claims; for verified manufacturing or shipping damage we arrange replacements or credit notes per agreement. For high-value shipments we recommend inspection at origin or insurance coverage.
A:Yes. We provide sales sheets, comparison guides (e.g., Cat5e vs Cat6), technical bulletins, and short videos that explain selling points and installation tips. Co-branded marketing materials are available for approved distributors.
A:We maintain a portfolio of distributor case studies and installation references across multiple regions. Case studies highlight solved pain points (e.g., long-distance PoE deployments, harsh outdoor installations) and often include performance data, customer testimonials, and photos. We are happy to share anonymized references or connect prospective partners with existing distributors for references.
